Thank you Rachael Grad for featuring me, Ella, and my little place on Apartment Therapy. The experience was truly enjoyable.... the hard part will be reading the viewer comments!

How could anyone come up with a negative comment. Top to bottom, room to room. It's all great. Even your cute ensemble!!

    I am posting a link on my Don't Miss feature @ hopelesschest.blogspot.com

And also adding your blog to my bookmarks immediately!

    cheers,

  4. Hello! I saw your apartment on AT. Wonderful job. I also live in a small studio, so I know how hard it is to decorate. Looks like you've divided the space up very well.

I have to laugh at comments about beds in studios on AT. I've been very happy to see beds more prominently displayed rather than hidden. I mean, the bed is so important, we need our rest! I like how yours is tucked into the corner.

P.S. Love your milk glass collection.

  5. Hi! Also found you through AT and wanted to say hello and that I love it! I'm a new homeowner struggling to fill lots of empty space and you gave some great inspiration.

  6. Peggy- Thank you! That AT crowd is brutal! But, I knew it would be like that before agreeing to let my place be posted. I'd like to answer some of the comments on there, but think it's best to let them float around in cyberspace. I think that it's funny that so many people have commented about the size of the bathroom and how they would divide it up to make more living space.... would they really do that if they were renting? I'm pretty sure that my landlord would get upset! ha ha Regardless, I appreciate your support. Thank you for checking out my blog!

  9. LOVE it!!! We have very similiar taste! I have the same sofa, 2 metal tables, and a desk chair just like yours. What a luxury to have a bath like that. Congrats on the Apartment Therapy article. ;)

  12. Scott, Everything -- but everything -- in your apartment is beyond stunning! I can't believe you've only lived there for three months; the feeling one gets when one looks at the photos is of a space that's been much loved and much lived-in. Soigne, elegant, witty (love the colorful books above the kitchen cabinet), I'm running out of adjectives to describe it. Every piece you've chosen looks like it has a wonderful and interesting provenance, which makes me want to explore every nook. (And I can't even comment on the FIREPLACE in your bathroom...I can only mouth the word 'jealous.') Above all, though, it radiates happiness, as is evident from the photo of you -- looking beyond dandyish and handsome -- and your exceedingly contented (and rather large?!) cat. Congratulations! I hope this is just the first "opening night" of your apartment, with many more "performances" to come. xx
