"When Elsie de Wolfe invented the vocation of interior decorator in 1905, she informed her friends and potential clients of the fact by sending out cards engraved with her name and address, and a discreet announcement of her service". This is not 1905, consider this my calling card.
she's a beauty.
ReplyDeleteI'd probably leave it as is, such a perfect size, I love it !!!
ReplyDeleteShe certainly is, Pauly Baby.
ReplyDeleteThat beauty is SCREAMING to be glazed in a brilliant blue...XXOO
ReplyDeleteare you going to re-enameal and restore...
ReplyDeleteMy question too-is this an objet d'art or do you restore it? I hate baths, but this would scare me.
ReplyDeletehave you been to the brass knob on 18th street in adams morgan? i love that little store -all the little'er stuff that is actually useful for apartment dwellers like us. I've taken clients there before to find lighting fixtures -they're always super helpful. I've never been to their large warehouse -it looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI think that it should be admired for its beauty. Seems like it might find a lovely home in the window of an Anthropologie...
ReplyDeleteStefan, If you like the 18th street location you'll LOVE the N Street warehouse! Check it out, you won't be disappointed!
I love this tub. I see a two tone color scheme in it's future.
ReplyDeletePlease tell me someone bought this on the spot. I have zero room for it, but I'd find a place if necessary. It would be a lovely spot for a guests, don't you think.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I agree that this little gem needs a home ASAP!
