  3. Well, Michael that's because you have impeccable taste in clothes, interiors, and men! It's nice to look at a lot of beautiful clothes on beautiful men on a cold snowy day like this, right?!

  4. Loving the Varvator and Armani outfits, Scott. Tell me, what's the clothes scene like in D.C.? Is it a fashionable place, or more conservative? An American acquaintance I recently took to one of our trendy (97% straight) bars here in Stuttgart asked if it was a gay bar; I gave him a questioning look. He said it must be all the tight jeans, tight t-shirts, tight sweaters, tight everything he's not used to seeing in straight men in the US, and styled from head to toe at that. Anyway, would be interested in hearing your take on the D.C. scene.

  5. It doesn't matter what these beautiful boys wear, they could carry off wearing a garbage bag and they'd still look marvelous.

  6. What a great selection. You are a man of many things. You are so knowledgable. You know so much about interior designs as much as you know about fashion!! I'm loving the orange trousers and brown jacket by Salvatore Ferragamo. The kind of combination of colours an Italian man would wear! So much catching up to do with your blog. The work has been quite frantic. Hope to catch up with you soon. ASD

  7. Michael -Unfortunately, many District residents sports some pretty somber, frumpy, and boring threads, but there are a few beautiful exceptions. I'm working on a little special project to highlight some of the peacocks strutting around this federal city.

Mr. Darling -Yes, I suppose you're right. But, I think that I'd personally be just as happy to see the clothes displayed on mannequins. I'm far more excited by theoutfits than the models.

  8. ASD -It's nice to have fooled at least one person! I'm far from knowledgeable about many / most things, but am happy to play the role until you figure me out! Thanks for all the sweet compliments nonetheless.

  12. This is completely off-topic, but.... I loved your comments on my blog and also Amanda's. She is fabulous, Scott, as you can tell already...seriously, the next time she comes to LA, you must fly out and meet us for drinks/dinner/whatever! And you will love her blog. It's like dipping into Tatler, only much juicier.
You're the biggest darling ever and I'm soooo glad I "virtually" know you! xxx

  13. L.B.G. -You have NO idea how truly honored (and overwhelmingly shy) I'd be to meet you two great ladies in person! Until then, I remain humbly & virtually yours,

  16. I love seeing designers creating new looks with homages to the styles of the past. Cool and slightly glam at the same time. David.
