My "Domicidal Haven" as seen through the lens of Baker Street

Lovely Brittany Watson, of The House That Lars Built, recently started a new project; Baker Street. This site "documents the lives of people in their places in Washington, DC". She asked me to participate a few months ago, and I did so happily. I recently moved from said little studio to a larger (and, much emptier) flat on the first floor of the same building. So, it's with sweet reminiscence that I share with you my little "Domicidal Haven". Thanks Brittany!

  1. You look so handsome in the photo with the white cap - I know I should have been admiring the interior but I got distracted.

  2. Scott!
You are so talented! I LOVED the photos with all of the little details....shoes under the dresser. Thanks for giving us the heads up on the photos....I might not have found them otherwise....and they were so fun to see. But then anything you design is fun for me to see! Bravo!

  7. Charming, and what better than to look back on it fondly and move on to the next lab as it were. It is elegant, classic-really timeless, and how lucky to work with an old space, at least for me it is. Can not wait to see what comes in the new digs. pgt

  9. Scott -- If we didn't already know what a man of taste you are, now we do. The adjectives that come to mind are "creamy" and "classy", with just the right amount of patina added to the mix. Charming. (And nice that you yourself showed up at the shoot to accessorize your pad; cute pix!) Thanks for the invite into your home.
    All the best,
    Michael

  12. Bravo! I am not going to follow suit and comment on how handsome you look because that is nothing new. I will say how mature you look! I love the digs and they look so very timeless. You are a perfect combination!
