It's beginning to look a lot like Autumn, everywhere you go.

We may still be a couple of weeks away from the official start of Autumn, but her return is evident. There is a sharpness to the wind that is welcome and refreshing. I've noticed more foliage reminiscent of Autumn leaves, and flowers that have started to retreat for the season. In all honesty I'm generally a pretty grumpy person during the Summer -an embarrassing characteristic that seems to have been magnified with my move to the District. I'm most excited, optimistic, and thoughtful in the Fall and Winter, and am very much looking forward to the change of seasons to come!

  1. I couldn't agree more -loving this change in the weather (so soon the year!). I expected to come back from paris to find 90 degree weather so this is a pleasant surprise!

  2. DC is fantastically inspiring in the Fall!

Stefan, I had a little chat with Mother Nature about your return. She agreed that you shouldn't have to come back to a hot, humid city. You should probably send her a thank-you.

  3. I love the change, because change is good but I do not look forward to what is next holidays and cold weather.
