"When Elsie de Wolfe invented the vocation of interior decorator in 1905, she informed her friends and potential clients of the fact by sending out cards engraved with her name and address, and a discreet announcement of her service". This is not 1905, consider this my calling card.
well . . . I see it this way - design is about creating your 'home' - and home is about your 'family' - and family includes any and all creatures living in the aforementioned home. please, brag freely.
ReplyDeleteLil' Lou looks to be a wonderful companion. you are very lucky.
Oh, Scooter... you're too sweet.
ReplyDeleteOh please, if you're one step shy of tacky..then I'm full on stretchy-pants and fanny-pack. Roxy and Boston get more blog comments that I do.
ReplyDeleteSleeping all tucked in for a car ride, that might just be the single most adorable thing ever.
Are stretchy-pants tacky? Damn, guess I should change my outfit for the day! He's pretty adorable as a content sleepy traveler, but my favorite look on Lou is "old Italian grandma" with the headscarf aka one of my pocket squares. ; )
ReplyDeleteScott-He's tres chic-but what is that hand that seems to be freaking him out in #4?
ReplyDeleteI agree! Lou looks great in your/his place - especially when he's peering over your couch. Tres chic!
ReplyDeleteI, and Louie, thank you for the sweet compliments. That hand belongs to his other daddy... he does look quite creepy / annoyed, but I think it's more to do with the head kerchief than with the hand.
ReplyDeletebeauty!
ReplyDeletei'm in love!
Me too, Pauly Baby.
ReplyDeleteadorable
ReplyDeletemy, grandma ...
ReplyDeletealmost looks like an old yenta in
that babushka. probably a very
good scout. when do we get to meet
his puppy friends?
Oh Louie! As most boyz, so utterly cute but equally crazy! Now where is the post on Ella?
ReplyDeleteadorable!! and truly chic.
ReplyDelete5th- Louie thanks you!
ReplyDeletebagelbrookefarm- I'll see if I can set up an interview with some of Lou's friends.
Tai- ha ha He is crazy, that's for sure! That nut woke me up at 6a, and is now peacefully sleeping in bed. Thanks for ruining my morning, Lou!! Ella will get her post soon ; )
ReplyDeleteroyalapothic- Louie and I are glad to hear from you. Lou thanks you for the compliment, and wanted me to tell you that he's proud of you!
ReplyDeleteA star is born!!! XXOO
ReplyDeleteToo funny....I am prepping a post about our latest family member and am SO glad to see your new pup! Chic is an understatement. What a perfect pooch.;)
ReplyDeletea new thought for the weekend - It look like Louis is 1) playing 'peekaboo' with you over the sofa . . . and 2) getting ready for a local production on "The Sound of Music" with a quick rendition of "Do-Re-Mi" complete with toile headscarf.
ReplyDeleteKatie, darling- He is the sweetest little guy in my life, and I simply adore him. I'm so glad to hear that you're bringing a lucky little four-legged love bug into the fabulously chic life of yours. He or she is going to be very lucky!
ReplyDeleteScooter- It's just that Lou can't help himself when confronted by a camera... he's a bit of a ham : ) Oh, and even though he's named after the great Louis Armstrong, unfortunately he doesn't share the same artistic talents.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the cat?????
