Introducing Lil' Lou nee Louis

So, it might be just this side of tacky to boast of puppy love on a design related blog, but I can't resist. My darling little Lou isn't a designer, doesn't know much about design, but he is painfully chic by nature.

  1. well . . . I see it this way - design is about creating your 'home' - and home is about your 'family' - and family includes any and all creatures living in the aforementioned home. please, brag freely.

Lil' Lou looks to be a wonderful companion. you are very lucky.

  2. Oh please, if you're one step shy of tacky..then I'm full on stretchy-pants and fanny-pack. Roxy and Boston get more blog comments that I do.

Sleeping all tucked in for a car ride, that might just be the single most adorable thing ever.

  3. Are stretchy-pants tacky? Damn, guess I should change my outfit for the day! He's pretty adorable as a content sleepy traveler, but my favorite look on Lou is "old Italian grandma" with the headscarf aka one of my pocket squares. ; )

  5. I agree! Lou looks great in your/his place - especially when he's peering over your couch. Tres chic!

  6. I, and Louie, thank you for the sweet compliments. That hand belongs to his other daddy... he does look quite creepy / annoyed, but I think it's more to do with the head kerchief than with the hand.

    that babushka. probably a very
good scout. when do we get to meet

  14. a new thought for the weekend - It look like Louis is 1) playing 'peekaboo' with you over the sofa . . . and 2) getting ready for a local production on "The Sound of Music" with a quick rendition of "Do-Re-Mi" complete with toile headscarf.

  16. Scooter- It's just that Lou can't help himself when confronted by a camera... he's a bit of a ham : ) Oh, and even though he's named after the great Louis Armstrong, unfortunately he doesn't share the same artistic talents.
